To accomplish this, Community Partnership for Children partners with public and private agencies, the courts, policymakers and community members to develop and maintain resources that will support children and families. Through the efforts and involvement of the community, we are able to keep children safe and build strong families.

Karin Flositz

Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Flositz is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Community Partnership for Children. She has been practicing in child welfare services since 1992 and began working at CPC in 2004. She holds both a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminal Justice. Ms. Flositz began her career in Family Safety with DCF thirty years ago and has acquired extensive programmatic experience throughout her career. She holds both a Child Welfare Supervisor and Specialist certification and a certification from DCF in contract management.

Tara Thompson

Chief of Operations

Ms. Thompson currently serves as the Chief of Operations for Community Partnership for Children. Ms. Thompson joined the organization in July 2021 and began working in the child welfare industry in 2005 with a Community Based Care agency and the Department of Children and Families. She has served with case management, investigations, prevention and mobile response, among other positions throughout the years.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Florida, a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Capella University and is certified as a case management supervisor.

Danielle Antoine

Chief of Programs

Mrs. Antoine is currently serving as the Chief of Programs for Community Partnership for Children. She has been practicing in child welfare services since 1999 and began working for CPC in 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling. Mrs. Antoine began her career over twenty-two years ago in Family Safety with DCF. She has attained strategic leadership and extensive program experience throughout her career in child welfare. Additionally, she holds Child Welfare Supervisor certification.

Michelle Marrero

Chief of Business Operations and Finance

Ms. Marrero has served in the role of Chief of Business Operations and Finance for Community Partnership for Children since December 2022. She began her career over twenty-three years ago in the Family Safety office with the Department of Children and Families.  In 2002, she joined CPC and served in various departments within the agency helping her to build a wealth of knowledge in the child welfare system.  Ms. Marrero holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Management along with certifications in Financial Operations.

Brittany Lawton

Chief of Quality Management & Permanency

Mrs. Lawton is currently serving as the Chief of Quality Management & Permanency for Community Partnership for Children. Mrs. Lawton holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science Degree in Human Services from Capella University. She began her career as a Case Manager in 2008 and has advanced to several different leadership roles over the course of her child welfare career.  Mrs. Lawton currently oversees Quality Management, Independent Living, Permanency & Adoptions programming at Community Partnership for Children. She has dedicated her career to building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and improving outcomes for those involved in the child welfare system.
