Adopt A Local Child

Give A Forever Family

Adoption gives children a second chance at a permanent family. Children become available for adoption from the foster care system in cases where their parental rights have been terminated by the court. These children have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and adoption provides them with a strong foundation for a happy and successful life.

Adoption is a legal process that gives the adopted child the same rights as a biological child: they become a forever member of the adoptive family. The adoption process begins with a no-obligation orientation session, followed by training (available nights and weekends), a home study, and approval of your application. After approval, you will have the opportunity to be matched with and meet children, have the child or children placed in your home, and then have the adoption finalized following a period of monthly placement supervision visits. Adoptive parents find that the challenges of adoption and the adoptive process are far outweighed by the love and joy they experience.

Many kids in Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam Counties are awaiting a loving adoptive home now. If you have ever felt called to adopt a child, then please contact Community Partnership for Children today to learn more. Please call 386-238-4900 for more information, or complete the contact form below.
