The first step in this process is to take the Foster Parent Preparation Training class.
After completion of the Foster Parent Preparation Training class, you will also need the following which will be coordinated by your selected provider:
Once the process is completed you will be issued a foster care license by the State of Florida. The agency you chose to affiliate with will be your support system. One of their employees will visit you monthly, as well as our case managers who will visit the child in your home monthly.
