Darlene Carlson serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Community Partnership for Children. In this role, she oversees the Accounting, Human Resources, Management of Information Systems (Information Technology) and General Services departments. Darlene spent fourteen years in the IT field as a programmer and trainer for financial applications before moving to the non-profit sector in March of 1998. Darlene was involved in the start-up phase of community-based-care when the State privatized the child welfare delivery system in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties. Along with administration responsibilities of a large mental heath and substance abuse center, Darlene has been involved in child welfare administration for over five years.

Darlene holds a Masters Degree in Non-Profit Management from Regis University, Denver Colorado. Darlene also received the training necessary and served as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer in Marion County.
