Company Report

Our company report is a bi-weekly report prepared by CEO Mark Jones.  Our agency operates in a transparent environment and we report openly on successes and challenges.

CEO Report - Monday, January 23, 2012:

Please review our most recent Company Report for the current reporting period.  

Children coming into care continue to be on the decline for the 3^rd straight month. This is good news. We need to do more in reducing children in out of home care and have several processes in place that will assist in that including the Casey Permanency Roundtable Project and the Kids to Watch process to assist with that.

We are holding steady at 62 children placed in Residential Group care which is the lowest it has been in at least 3 years. We are up to 108 children adopted. We may hit an all time high for us this year. The success is due largely to our great partnership with Children’s Legal Services and the Guardian ad Litem Program.

We continue to streamline our processes as  we prepare for a possible 200K reduction come July 1. This is our share of the proposed statewide CBC reduction of 7.5 million dollars. I will keep everyone posted as we hear more about this.

We have also been selected as a site to participate in the Georgetown Crossover Project and had our first community meeting in January with about 65 community leaders in attendance. This process will enhance communication and system design between all of the entities involved in working with children who have both dependency and delinquency involvement.
